Yes, the day has arrived; it’s October 1st.  Over 180 people have made the commitment that every day this month we will share the gospel – either personally or by giving / planting a gospel tract – with at least one person.  As we all keep that commitment, a minimum of 5580 people will receive a gospel presentation – perhaps many more than that.

1. Pray for your own efforts, and for everyone else who is participating.

With one week to go, we have 139 people signed up ready to start the S.O.S. 31 Day Challenge on October 1st. Already that means a minimum of 4309 people will be presented with the gospel in some form in October. Even more importantly, we’re believing for all the believers who are participating to be mobilized to make witnessing a part of their lives after the October challenge is finished.

139 people deployed. Exciting! … but we still have another week to increase the size of our army. YOU can help us!

On October 9th and 10th, Dr. Ravi Zacharias will be speaking at the annual Jonathan Edwards Forum in Wethersfield, CT, on the topic of “Christ, Christianity, and the Culture of our Time.” The sessions begin at 7:00 PM at the First Church of Christ.

This is a great opportunity for local friends to hear Dr. Zacharias. We’re planning on taking a group from our church down on the Saturday evening. Admission is free, but space is limited, so I’d like to call ahead and make sure we’ll be able to get seats.  If you’re interested in joining us, leave a comment here or give me a call / email.
