Shoppers having lunch in the food court at the Welland Seaway Mall in Ontario Canada on November 13th were surprised when suddenly Chorus Niagara did their thing right there around the tables. Awesome!
Enjoy!
Great song by Matt Redman, putting the emphasis in Missions right where it belongs … for the praise and glory of God. That’s the theme of our brand new Study Hall series this Wednesday night: “Let the Nations Be Glad”. If you live in the Greater Danbury area, join us Wednesday at 7pm.

Million dollar bill tracts are our absolute favorites for general use because they’re just so easy to give away. In fact, they almost give themselves away. It’s not uncommon for people to chase you asking for more for their friends.
In this video, my daughter Bethwyn demonstrates just how easy it is.
Ewan and I had some fun together yesterday for Day 1 of our S.O.S. 31 Day Challenge. Watch the video for how to keep your car Challenge-ready AND tract placing idea #1.

It ought to make us evaluate for a moment …
This video has been around for a while, but it’s well-worth posting it again here for anyone who hasn’t seen it. It’s an extraordinary challenge to Christians. This young man has uncommon clarity – he understands what a life consistent with a profession of faith in Christ must mean. Watch it:
Why don’t so many Christians get it so plainly?
I’ve been reading Francis Chan’s book “Crazy Love”. In the opening chapter he directs readers to watch this short video on the web. Absolutely amazing.
Understand this – God created this Universe. He holds it in the palm of His hand.
As I watched the video I was reminded of some words of Charles Spurgeon. When he was just 21 years old he opened a sermon on the Immutability of God with the following words …

There’s abundant material available around the internet now, thankfully, that debunks the climate change myth. Slowly people are being made aware that the “science” behind the whole thing was very shoddy from the beginning, and the only reason it has been perpetuated is because there are clearly people who have a vested interest in it. People who would use fear for control.
But Christians should NEVER have been suckered into climbing up on this bandwagon in the first place. The reason I say that is because just a few minutes thought about it for anyone who has a basic Biblical knowledge should have clued you in to the fact that it was nothing but a diversion.
Let me just give you 2 Biblical reasons why the global warming alarmists should never have troubled us:
A list like this, of course, is very subjective, and I hasten to add that this is not some “fan” list; I do not wish to adulate or idolize these men. They are simply preachers that I find consistently helpful – they encourage my spiritual growth.
I also set the criteria for this list that they had to be currently active preachers.
If I were considering preachers in print, my all time favorite would be “The Prince of Preachers”, Charles Haddon Spurgeon, followed closely by a slew of 17th Century Puritans.
If I were considering preachers you can still get audio for, but who are no longer preaching, the list would be headed by Dr.Martyn Lloyd-Jones, and would include such legends as Adrian Rogers, Stephen Olford, Leonard Ravenhill, Alan Redpath and Vance Havner.
Disclaimers aside, here’s my current list:
Last week there was a huge ruckus over the news that Focus on the Family had produced a pro-life TV Commercial to air during the superbowl, featuring Pam and Tim Tebow.
While pregnant, Pam suffered a life-threatening infection with a pathogenic amoeba. Because of the drugs used to rouse her from a coma and to treat her dysentery, the fetus experienced a severe placental abruption. Doctors expected a stillbirth and recommended an abortion to protect her life. But Pam chose instead to have her child, and put the outcome in God’s hands. The result was that her son, Tim, was born perfect and healthy, and has grown up to be a football all-star, among other achievements winning the Heisman Trophy.
Pro-choice groups around the country were up in arms, claiming that this TV commercial was an assault on a woman’s right to choose abortion.
